SecureCare Self Storage FAQ
Where are you located?
Our facility is located at 1400 East 4th in North Platte, Nebraska 69101. We’re across the street from Casey’s General Store and between Belmont and McCabe Streets. We are conveniently located for residents in the city of North Platte and the surrounding areas.
What are your office hours?
We have a dedicated, caring staff member on-site Monday through Saturday. From Monday through Saturday, we are here from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. We give everyone a break on Sunday, but you can rent and make payments on our webside. You may also call and leave a message or fill out our form if you need assistance.
What are your access hours?
You can access your storage unit between 7:00 am and 10:00 pm any day of the week.
What items are prohibited from storage?
For safety reasons, we prohibit the storage of perishables, flammable materials, explosives, toxic chemicals, and illegal items. If you're unsure whether an item is permissible, please contact us for clarification.
Do I need insurance for my stored items?
Yes, insurance is required for all stored items. You can either provide proof of your own insurance or purchase insurance through us at the time of rental.
How is the security at Secure Care Self Storage?
We value security so much that we included it in our name! We keep track of all activity on our property and require coded access at our security gate.
Are prices affordable?
Yes! We pride ourselves on having some of the most affordable storage units in the North Platte area.
How can I pay my bill?
We accept most forms of payment, including major credit cards, money orders, and checks. We offer an online bill pay service so you can log in and pay your bill from anywhere with internet access. How convenient!
How do I make a payment?
Payments can be made online, in person, or through our automated phone system. We accept all major credit cards, checks, and cash.
Can I change my storage unit size after signing the lease? Absolutely! You can upgrade or downsize your unit based on availability. Please contact our office to discuss your needs and available options.
What do I need to bring when signing up for a unit?
You will need to bring a valid government-issued ID (driver's license, passport, etc.) and a method of payment. If you're planning to use our insurance, details of the policy will also be required.
How do I know what size to get?
